Frozen Semen from Rhodesian Ridgeback Kuzonga’s Aurelijus | Only TWO doses left

Auri died in 2015, but his frozen semen gives a final opportunity to bring his health, type and temperament into a new generation. Only TWO doses (4 straws) remain, and once they are used, there will be no more.

Why Auri

  • HD A, ED 0, OCD free, heart and thyroid normal
  • DM N/N, EOAD and JME clear. Dilute: Dd (carrier)
  • Calm, social and unaffected by gunfire (DKK mentality test)
  • 12 litters, 121 puppies, no ridgeless puppies, no bite or testicle faults

How the semen is stored

The semen was collected in 2004 at Cani cold semen bank, Denmark and has been stored in liquid nitrogen at −196 °C ever since. Quality assessment: 87 % motility/count at collection. Storage is documented, and the documentation follows the semen.

The process

  1. Contact us with information about your bitch: pedigree, health results and planned season.
  2. We assess the match together. As Auri is a dilute carrier, we recommend testing your bitch.
  3. Agreement on terms and price.
  4. Shipping from Canicold to your veterinarian or reproduction clinic in a nitrogen container.
  5. Insemination by your veterinarian, timed by progesterone testing.
  6. Registration. You receive the documentation required by your kennel club to register the litter.
